A watercolor painting named*Home after Rain*touched me most among all the works on show this Monday.
This painting describes a warm scene on a summer evening.Just after a light rain,the small stone road in a traditional Chinese yard is still wet,with a few fallen jasmine flowers on it.An old grandma is sitting on a wooden chair,fanning a little girl who is leaning against her knees,peeling a litchi for the child with a big smile on her face.The sky is light orange,and the warm yellow light from the window of the old house pours out,making the whole scene soft and quiet.
